for its interactive projects on the Mississippians. Among them are:

American Association of Museums
MUSE Award, Gold, educational category (2012)
MUSE Award, Silver, audio-visual category (2009)

National Association for Interpretation
Media Award, audio-visual category (2009)

National Scenic Byways
grant for Project Arch-ae-o, designed for students in grades 4-8 (2010)

National Endowment for the Humanities
grant for Mark of the Mississippians, (2011) which includes interactive applications, an educational website, and a DVD. These electronic explorations feature not only Cahokia but three other significant Mississippian sites: Spiro in Oklahoma, Moundville in Alabama, and Etowah in Georgia.
